Baker-Shuksan Sept 2009

We
visited the Mt Baker area and walked the short trail south east from
the parking lot at the end of the road, to get nice views of Mt Shuksan
and Mt Baker. I used my Fuji S6000fd camera on a monopod to
capture these pictures.
I wish I had not used the polarizer filter in the wide angle shots, as
the gradient in the sky brightness was distracting. The monopod
helps get sharper images than hand-holding the camera... it is becoming
my habit now.
After returning to the car for lunch, I went solo a little way up the
Table Mountain trail, where the climbing was a lot steeper than
the earlier morning walk was. The views were super good today!
